Martin Batchelar
Bio Martin Batchelar is a London based composer and arranger of music for film, television, theatre and studio recordings. Martin arranged and conducted orchestrations for The Who’s twelfth studio album WHO, and has also arranged for Cliff Richard, Alfie Boe, Sheridan Smith, Heather Small and Cassidy Janson (Olivier Award-winning star of West End’s Beautiful). His arrangements for composer Rachel Fuller include Animal Requiem, featuring Paul McCartney and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and soundtrack album The Seeker, featuring Elton John and Emeli Sandé. Martin is the composer for global hit comedy podcast My Dad Wrote A Porno, with over 400 million downloads to date, three sell-out world tours and an HBO TV special. His music has featured in numerous advertising campaigns, including Coca-Cola, Citroën, Heineken Formula 1 and Disneyland Paris. Recent orchestrations include BBC documentary series Mexico and Wild West, along with computer game soundtracks including Disney Pixar’s Rush. Martin trained at the Royal College of Music in London.
