PCAM x Balance the Mix Mentorship Scheme

We’re excited to announce the PCAM x Balance the Mix Mentorship Scheme—a free, six-month programme designed to support female and gender-expansive music producers and composers as they navigate the media music industry.

This initiative pairs experienced mentors with emerging talent, offering six hours of mentorship over six months (either 30 minutes bi-weekly or one hour monthly, or as agreed between mentor and mentee). Sessions will be flexible in content, allowing mentees to focus on what matters most—whether it’s creative guidance, industry insights, or personal support.

Our goal is to uplift underrepresented voices, build confidence, and create a sense of community in what can often be an isolating career path. In collaboration with PCAM (The Society for Producers and Composers of Applied Music), mentees will also receive a free six-month PCAM membership, granting access to valuable resources, including contract support, industry advice, and guidance on AI and music.

Together, we’re shaping a more inclusive and supportive future for music creators. 🎶
